A Variety of Programs to Suit Your Fitness Goals
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program consisting mainly of a mix of aerobic exercise, calisthenics (body weight exercises), and Olympic weightlifting. Classes feature different workouts every day, and exercises are modified to the skill level of each individual.
Our Olympic Weightlifting class is instructed by a certified coach and incorporates the use of two independent lifts which require the athlete to lift a loaded barbell from the floor to an overhead position in an explosive manner.
Each personal training session gives you one on one time with one of our certified coaches. Our coaches possess the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to design safe and effective fitness programs for our members. They instruct and assist members in reaching personal health and fitness goals. Our training focuses on CrossFit and identifies areas in need of improvement.
We offer team training sessions for groups anywhere from 8 to 20+ people, with programming geared specifically to your group's goals. Team training sessions will allow groups to book time in the gym to train together and develop camaraderie.
Our recovery yoga class helps members stave off injuries, rehab tired muscles, and ready your body for your next workout.
Open gym is a time we've set aside outside of our regular class times for you to do whatever you would like (within reason of course) at CrossFit Cambridge. Open Gym time can be used to do a workout other than the group class options or to work on specific skills or lifts.
CrossFit Kids is a strength and conditioning program that is specifically designed for kids and teenagers to create a foundation for health and fitness from a young age. Based on the principle of Mechanics, Consistency and then Intensity, CrossFit Kids emphasizes proper movement throughout childhood and adolescence. Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for kids.
