Brandon has his Crossfit Level 1 Certification and has been doing CrossFit since 2012.
"I found CrossFit in my first year of university when a roommate showed me footage of the CrossFit Games – I was immediately amazed by the combination of strength, cardio, Olympic weightlifting, and gymnastics that took place in the events (Froning is the GOAT!). I grew up playing hockey and rugby at a very high level, and CrossFit perfectly combined the aspects of training I had grown to love.
Not being local to the KW area, and being in the worst shape of my life, I remember being extremely nervous showing up to the first several classes…but that didn’t last long, as I was fortunate enough to meet some of my closest friends at this very gym. I find coaching extremely rewarding – whether it’s helping a member perform a movement they haven’t been able to do before, hit a personal record on a lift, or just simply put a smile on their face and improve their day, nothing makes me happier than seeing our members progress and succeed.
